What it is

A translation app from DeepL. It translates by reading the whole sentence rather than word by word, which is why its output reads more naturally than most, especially for Japanese and German. A keyboard shortcut brings up the translation window over whatever you were copying from.

When to pick this

If you read foreign-language documents often, or work with Japanese. For occasional use, your browser’s built-in translation is enough.

Shortcut
