To move off Microsoft Office without paying. If you need broad support for older or unusual formats, LibreOffice covers more ground.

Familiar layout
The ribbon is laid out almost identically. If you tried LibreOffice and went back because you could not find anything, this is the better move.
Format fidelity
Opens and saves docx, xlsx and pptx without conversion, and tends to disturb layout less than LibreOffice does.
Business use
