What it is
A tool for designing app and web interfaces. It runs in a browser as well as a desktop app, and several people can edit the same file at once — which is why it became the industry standard. Developers can read sizes and colours straight from the design, so it also serves as the handoff.

If you design interfaces or build from someone else’s designs. For photo retouching or drawing, GIMP or Krita fit.
