What it is
A video editor from CyberLink. Clips go on a timeline to be cut, joined, subtitled and given effects — the usual arrangement — but it offers a beginner-facing mode alongside the full one. A free Essential edition exists, with generative AI and advanced effects reserved for the paid editions.
When to pick this
A reasonable starting point if you have never added subtitles or transitions to a video. Bandicut is built for cutting and joining and falls short of real editing; conversely, if all you need is to trim the ends, this is more than the job requires.

Essential covers basic editing and effects at no cost. Generative AI, advanced effects, templates and stock material belong to the paid editions: ₩87,000 a year for the 365 subscription, or ₩227,000 for a perpetual licence.
A separate mode for beginners
On first launch it asks how you want to work. Storyboard mode builds a video from clips laid out in order; once that feels limiting, you switch to the timeline.
Installation takes a while
The installer is large to begin with and downloads more effects and material as it goes. On a slow connection, start it when you have time to spare.
