- Models are downloaded separately from the program. Small ones are 2–5GB and large ones tens of GB — check your free disk space.
- It runs without a dedicated GPU but slowly. 8GB or more of video memory makes it practical.
What it is
Downloads and runs AI models on your own PC. It does the same job as Ollama but you search for models, download and chat through a window instead of a command line. Personal and internal business use are free; using it to provide a service to third parties is not permitted by its terms.
When to pick this
If you are new to local AI or want to avoid the command line. For scripting or running on a server, Ollama is lighter.

Search the model list, download, and see which models will run on your graphics card. No commands required.
Local server
It can expose an OpenAI-compatible API on your own PC, so an existing program can be pointed at a local model by changing only the endpoint.
